Oregon State visitors

I originally named this post "Oregon Visitors" and realized my Oregon State fanatic brother, sister-in-law, and niece might take that the wrong way.  Oregon = University of Oregon.  Oregon State = Oregon State University...their school, their team(s), their way of life.

Having them here with no specific schedule of events made for a wonderful weekend!  They arrived on Friday afternoon for a 3 day visit.  We took in a Reno Aces game (yes, that is THE Brett Butler!),

we went for a run around the Sparks Marina,  had drinks on the patio at Anchors Bar & Grill, we wandered through downtown and watched some brave souls on the climbing wall at Comm Row,

we saw a slack line performer at Circus Circus,

we listened to live music in the park after walking along the river.

And I might be biased but my niece is as hilarious and brilliant as she is beautiful!  She repeatedly had us all in stitches.  Pretty sweet way to spend a few days!

I recommend you take a day and go out and enjoy your town through the eyes of visitors.  There is always something new to see and do wherever you are!
